RECIPE PROJECT:

As part of our lesson in fractions, we will be completing our “traditional” RECIPE PROJECT.  Students first step to complete this project is to “Bring a copy of a recipe”.  Students must select a finger food snack recipe that requires a variety of fractions as part of your measuring ingredients.  (At least 5 different fractions.)  Example:  1/2 cup of milk, 3/4 cups of sugar, 1/8 tbsp. of salt, 1/4 cups of chocolate chips, 1 1/2 cups of flour, etc.

Before you begin your project, students must receive Mrs. Hernandez’ approval.  Complete instructions will be given to students next week.
