Reading Update- Myth Mission

November 14, 2007 aparker1 Leave a comment

We are currently working on an in class project (and I stress in class- my goal is that all work will be done during class time). The main goal of this project is to teach students how to work in groups, organize, and present a project.

Students have chosen their groups, their roles within the group, and a myth to analyze. Groups will create a skit in which they tell the story of the myth from a bystander’s point of view. While you should not see much work coming home for this assignment, I hope students will be able to explain their myth and tell you about their group’s plan for the presentation.

On another note- ask your student about their Reading Log. We are back on our normal schedule (until next week, but that is a different story) so Reading Logs are due Friday.
