World Cultures- Depth and Complexity

January 14, 2008 cbrame Leave a comment

The students are beginning to work with different dimensions of depth and complexity to help them learn how to “think outside of the box” so to speak. We have applied these to the Islamic religion for a graded classwork assignment finishing up from Thursday/Friday and today (Monday). I have made these dimensions along with the icons available below for your use so that you may apply them to different topics or disciplines. Please contact me if you  have any questions about these dimensions or icons.

January 14, 2008 cbrame Leave a comment

Since this week will be filled with Stanford testing, today we will be finishing up our study of Islam. We will have a graded classwork assignment finished today that was started on Thursday/Friday. As we begin testing tomorrow, we will also begin our study of Buddhism. I have placed the shortened versions of the Purple Cow work from Islam in a powerpoint form here (Teachings of Islam) and here (The Spread of Islam) for your convenience.
