In World Cultures this week, all classes will be going to the library to complete research on a designated political philosopher. The students will be working in groups that I have assigned. This will be an in-class project, so no work is required at home unless stated otherwise in the planners. We will be focusing not only on the political philosopher, but also on research skills and time management. I have attached the handout below which will be given to the students today which includes the requirements for this group project. If you have any questions, please email me.
Ms. Brame
I have attached a copy of the Comparative Political Systems handout below in case one of the students has misplaced it. This will be needed to complete the homework in World Cultures that is due for all classes on Friday, February 22.
Progress reports were sent home with every student Friday, February 15, 2008. Parents please sign and review these reports with your children. Any missing work must be submitted by Wednesday, February 20 for consideration on the Fourth Cycle Report Card.
The 6th grade school science fair will be held February 21 in our Distance Learning Lab. We are in need of parent and community volunteers to judge our students’ projects. If you or someone you know are interested in helping, please contact Mr. Edquid via e-mail by Wednesday, February 20.
